Stalking Paddington, I found this lovely terrace and instantly liked the style of the living room.

Who needs more stuff? The cabinetry on the right wall will be taken out and a skinny long table will replace it with a bench and skinny chairs like below. Also a mirror wall on the right wall to capture more light.

For the room after the kitchen I would put in a study/library like below with a study and couch, and bookshelf that covers the back wall except for the door to the bathroom.
